Detention
Introduction
A detention is a much more serious castigation than LLD. It will be issued by subject teachers, housemasters or masters when students engage in actions or pursue agendas that are significantly detrimental to the learning environment within Wellington College International Tianjin. It can be further categorised into Thursday detention and Saturday detention. The validity for detentions is also a week.
Detention Receiving Methods
Students may receive a detention when following things happen:

Escalations and restrictions
Escalations: When students significantly underperform or misbehave, no matter inside or outside of lessons, housemasters or tutors can issue community service, where students are mandatory to work on basic chores (e.g., cleaning walls) with designated teachers.
