Blücher House is one of the houses at Wellington College International Tianjin. Named in honour of Prussian Field Marshal Gebhard Leberecht von Blücher, a key ally of Waterloo, the House has a long and distinguished history within the college. The House is the champion of the House Champion in 2024.
History
Blücher House was established as one of the original boarding houses when Wellington College opened in 1859. The naming reflects the College’s foundation as a national monument to the victory over Napoleon and the significant contributions of the Duke of Wellington.
