V&A Café
The V&A café at Wellington College International Tianjin is a formal social and dining venue modelled closely on the café of the same name at Wellington UK. It is named in honour of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, who played a central role in the founding of Wellington UK in the 1850s.[1][2]
Role and facilities
The café is operated in partnership with the College’s catering company. It provides a high-quality and comfortable setting for pupils, parents, staff, and visitors. During the school day, access for pupils is limited to Senior School students. The café offers a range of hot and cold beverages alongside pastries and snacks, all available at modest prices.[1]
Parents are encouraged to use the café as a meeting place before or after school drop-off and pick-up times. Regular coffee mornings for parents are also hosted in this venue.[2]
Opening hours
The V&A café is open from 08:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday. It may also open outside standard hours to accommodate special events.[2]
